The N.C Animal Agriculture Coalition received a grant award from the U.S. Farmer Rancher Alliance to host a Food Dialogues event in North Carolina in September.  The N.C. Soybean Producers Association is a founding member of  the coalition.

The state soybean board is accepting nominations to one of two North Carolina seats on the United Soybean Board (USB.)  Current USB director Jacob Parker and Wayne County farmer Reggie Strickland have been nominated to the seat.  The state soybean board is accepting nominations on the official USDA nomination form.

North Carolina soybean farmers visited research stations belonging to USDA, Monsanto, Pioneer and Syngenta where up to three generations of soybeans are produced annually in winter nurseries.
