According to David H. Hardy, the Section Chief of Soil Testing with the NCDA&CS, the fee for soil testing is now in effect until March 31, 2016. The fee is $4.00 per sample.Turnaround time is now estimated at seven weeks, taking into account lower production due to Christmas holidays. The soils lab is working extra hours up until the holiday break so possibly turnaround time may drop some over the next few weeks. For faster turnaround, there are still some expedited shippers for sale at $200 for 36 samples.  Contact the soils lab to purchase.Please note that the gate to the Reedy Creek Road facility will be closed during weekends.
