Technology: Bayer Adds New Liberty Link Soybean Varieties

As farmers in the South continue to battle increasing weed pressure, Bayer released 12 new Credenz soybean varieties designed specifically for farmers in the Mid-South, Mid-Atlantic and Southern U.S. regions.  The Credenz varieties contain the LibertyLink trait.“Soybeans are a priority crop for Bayer CropScience,” says Allen Gent, the company’s U.S. soybean product manager. “We’re making significant investments to ensure we keep pace with growers’ evolving needs and deliver the best technology to the marketplace at the right time. Our expanded Credenz portfolio and strengthened germplasm base represent strategic moves in that long-term effort.”
